Kanye West is currently preparing a 30 minute pilot for a comedy show, on Comedy Central, he plans to do called Alligator Boots. According to Kanye it's "Hip-Hop meets the Muppets". Sandman left Re-up Gang

Sandman (formely of Re-Up Gang) announced that he is no longer a part of Re-Up Gang. He is now going to go fully Solo. He also mentions that without his presence in the group it's not really Re-Up but the Clipse and Ab Liva. Quoted by Sandman himself is his response to the situation, "When you have a movement like the Re-Up Gang, something that came out of nowhere that was turned into a cult following, I just don't see how people dropped the ball on the last project. So it didn't make sense for me to stick around if shit ain't in my best interest." To finish off, he has released a mixtape titled Gianormous and plans to release two more titled Heart of the City and Moonwalkerz.

Prince Po working on new song with Pharaohe Monch

Prince Po of Organized Konfusion stated that he and Pharaohe Monch have worked on a new song together entitled "Then and Now". Even though it's a new song by the two, it will remain unheard for now. He also stated it could lead to a possible album and website. Organized Konfusion was formed in the early 90's and recorded 3 great albums before their split which eventually lead to Pharaohe Monch's solo career.

Dr dre's son found dead by his mom, Cause of death unknown

Authorities have been unable to establish how he died, so further tests on the 20-year-old have been ordered, the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner has revealed.

Andre Jr. was found unresponsive at his California home by his mother Jenita Porter, who he lived with, on Saturday (23.08.08).

Ace remarked in a December 2006 interview that he would no longer record as a solo artist, only with eMC. rappers of eMC is Masta Ace, Wordsworth, Punchline and Stricklin. eMC's first group album,The Show, was scheduled for early 2007 but was released in February 2008 digitally and April 2008 physically.
